First thing is first, my name is Ainsley and I do NOT claim to be a personal trainer or nutritionist. I have created this site due to popular demand for people who are fascinated and interested in learning my secrets to a lean physique while still being able to enjoy all the guilty pleasures associated with eating!
I have always been an active individual and have been working out for about six years. However, it was not until I began to change my diet that I really started to see a change in my body composition. I have tried just about EVERYTHING when it comes to dieting and recently found that cutting out the carbs was the best way to achieve that lean “ripped” look everyone longs for. For this reason, many, if not all of my recipes contain minimal carbs.
So what DO I eat??? Simple. Fat and protein. I was always skeptical about the whole “eat fat to burn fat” thing but after hearing a friend rant about his experience on the keto diet I decided to give it a shot and TRUST ME….IT WORKS! I’ll let you guys do the research on your own but pretty much what happens when your fat intake is high and carbohydrate intake is low is that your body begins to use fat for fuel. This is NOT the Atkins diet though! Many people (especially males) complain that when they deplete their body of carbs they get that “flat” look and lose muscle definition. This is usually because they are neglecting their fat intake and consuming large amounts of only protein. When this happens your body turns to the muscle for fuel as opposed to fat which is counterproductive.
DIET VS LIFESTYLE:
The BIGGEST reason people fail when it comes to their expectations and fitness goals is because they always turn to “fad diets” which dramatically restrict foods and calories to just about nothing. The first step to that “perfect body” is realizing that this is not a diet or temporary thing…this is a lifestyle. This website provides people with the opportunity to enjoy the foods they love in a guilt-free manner. I have personally created and re-created all of the dishes on this site to ensure that everything tastes great! I am open to suggestions and feedback anytime! Feel free to comment on the posts and let us know if you have any tweaks, ideas, or requests I can try to come up with!
