If you need to change a recipe before shopping, use the Recipe Adapter first. Scale the servings, keep or convert recognized measurements, and then send the finished ingredient list here.
You can continue adding ingredients from other recipes or type in non-recipe items such as fruit, milk or household essentials.

Saved Locally, Not to a SinOrSlim Account
The Shopping List Generator stores the current list locally in your browser. SinOrSlim does not upload the items to a shopping-list account or recipe database.
Because the list is stored locally, it will not automatically appear on another phone, computer, browser or browser profile. Clearing local browser data can also remove it.
A Shopping List, Not a Grocery Delivery Service
The tool is designed to organize the items you need. It deliberately stays simple.
- It does not check grocery store stock or prices.
- It does not place grocery orders.
- It does not automatically organize items by grocery store aisle.
- It does not sync the list between different devices or browsers.
- It combines exact duplicate ingredients rather than trying to infer that differently written items are the same.

Does the Shopping List Generator combine duplicate ingredients?
It can combine exact duplicate ingredients when they use the same recognized unit. It deliberately does not guess that differently named or differently formatted items are the same thing.
Can I add ingredients from more than one recipe?
Yes. Add one set of ingredients, then add another. Your existing shopping list remains in place until you remove items or use Clear all.
Can I send ingredients from the Recipe Adapter?
Yes. Adapt the recipe first, then send the finished ingredient list to the Shopping List Generator and continue editing or adding items here.
Can I copy or print my shopping list?
Yes. Use Copy list to copy the current list or Print to create a printable version using your browser’s print options.
Will my shopping list still be there when I come back?
The current list is stored locally in the same browser, so it can remain available when you return. Clearing browser storage, using a different browser or changing devices can mean the list is no longer available.
Is my shopping list uploaded to SinOrSlim?
No. The current Shopping List Generator keeps the list in local browser storage. SinOrSlim does not receive the shopping-list contents for storage in an account or shopping database.
Can I use the tool for things that are not recipe ingredients?
Yes. You can add ordinary shopping items as well as recipe ingredients. The tool does not require every line to be a food measurement.
